Freelance Writing Tip #1: Freelance Writing is a Business

Whether you’re writing ad copy for your friend’s garage sale, or you’re writing Amazon blurbs about your favorite books—you’re putting words on the page for a purpose. If you’re freelance writing, your goal is to make money doing it. One of the ways to set yourself up for success is to structure your freelance writing on top of a business model—regardless of how serious you are about writing full-time or writing as a hobby.
