In the February 2020 issue of sub-Q magazine, the environmental-themed issue featured Underwater Memories, an interactive fiction game set to music designed by Monica Valentinelli. The issue is free to the public and is available now.
Underwater Memories is best played with headphones in a quiet space. You will listen to a selection of soundscapes as you progress through the story. Please enjoy “Surface Peace”, the title song, as a sample of what you’ll hear during your experience.

Monica Valentinelli is an author, artist, and narrative designer who writes about magic, mystery, and mayhem. Her portfolio includes stories, games, comics, essays, and pop culture books.
In addition to her own worlds, she has worked on a number of different properties including Vampire: the Masquerade, Shadowrun, Hunter: the Vigil, Brandon Sanderson’s Mistborn, and Robert E. Howard’s Conan.
